Themes, plugins and accessibility set up for you
A light, dark or custom theme with contrast control, plugins that add features without waiting for an update, and accessibility settings that actually change something: text size, motion, contrast and reading aloud.
Five themes: light, Ash, dark, Onyx and system
Every theme changes the whole app at once: backgrounds, text, buttons and message bubbles. You pick one in the appearance settings, and the change shows straight away, no restart needed.
Light
White and calm, for working in daylight.
Ash
A muted grey that is easy on the eyes in the evening.
Dark
The classic dark theme for the night.
Onyx
Pure black, at its deepest on OLED screens.
System
Switches by itself along with your system's light and dark mode.
Your whole look on one settings screen
Theme, gradient, your own colours, text size and accessibility are set in one place. The conversation preview next to them shows each change straight away, with the text contrast for your colours just below.

12 gradients that colour the whole app
On top of the five themes there are twelve gradients. You pick one, and the app takes on its colour, from the chat list to the message box.
Your own theme with AA contrast control
You pick 1 to 5 colours, and Plazer builds a whole theme from them: backgrounds, accents and text. It checks the contrast of every piece of text, so even a bold palette stays readable.
AA requires at least 4.5:1 for regular text
1 to 5 colours
One colour is enough for a consistent theme. Five give you full control over the background, panels and accents.
Contrast handled for you
When text on the chosen background would be too faint, Plazer picks a lighter or darker shade until the contrast meets AA.
Live preview
You see every change on a chat preview before you save the theme.
A theme as one file you can share
A theme is saved in a single text file. You send it to friends in a chat or post it in a channel, and anyone who opens it gets exactly the same look.

Colours, corner rounding and density go into one file.

In a direct message, a group or a server channel, like any other attachment.
- 3
Someone opens it
The theme turns on for them in one click, without copying any colours by hand.
Plugins: new features without waiting for an update
A plugin adds whatever you happen to need. You switch it on and off with one toggle in settings, and creators share them on Plazer's community server alongside themes.
- Message timesA timestamp on every message, not just the first one in a run.
- Compact viewMore messages on screen, without large gaps.
- Big emojiA message with only emoji shows them at a large size.
- TranslationA translate button next to messages in another language.
Text from 12 to 24 px, density, time format and language
You set the text size with a slider, and the whole app adjusts to it along with its spacing. Scroll to see how the sample message changes.

Density and compact mode
Comfortable spacing or a compact mode that fits more of the conversation on screen.
Time format
Times in 24-hour or 12-hour format, whichever you prefer.
Polish and English
The whole app in Polish or in English, switched in settings.
Accessibility: motion, contrast, colour and reading aloud
Four settings for people who find a regular interface getting in the way: tiring motion, colours that blur together or text that is hard to read.
Reduced motion
Turns off transition and effect animations, so nothing slides or bounces on screen. It helps people who find motion distracting or who get dizzy from it.
High contrast
Strengthens the difference between text and background and sharpens borders, so every element stands apart without effort.

Colour saturation
Tones down the colours of the whole app, all the way to greyscale, when bright colours tire you or distract you.
Read aloud
Plazer reads messages aloud when you would rather listen than look at the screen.

Questions about appearance and accessibility
The most common questions about themes, plugins and accessibility settings.
No. The five themes, 12 gradients and custom themes are available to everyone, free of charge.
No. Plazer checks the contrast of every piece of text and adjusts the shade so it meets AA, which means at least 4.5:1 for regular text.
A theme is saved in a single file. You send it in a chat or a channel, and the recipient turns it on with one click.
In the appearance settings you move the font size slider anywhere from 12 to 24 px. Spacing follows the text, so the layout stays intact.
It turns off transition and effect animations across the whole app, so nothing slides or bounces on screen.
Yes. You turn reading aloud on in the accessibility settings, next to high contrast and colour saturation.
Polish and English. You change the language in settings, and the whole app switches straight away.
